I planted some corn about four weeks ago and yesterday I noticed the corn was turning purple. Well, worried about what could become of it I did some research and found out from the Iowa State University that the purple color was a symptom of restrictive root development. Unfortunately the only way to fix the problem is to get some rain which may come today but will come for sure tommorrow I can hope.
