I am figuring this for quite some time.. I can't seem to post Japanese characters in this forum. For instance, when I copy and paste Japanese song titles, weird symbols like ƒLƒ~ƒnƒJƒ‹ƒ appears instead of the Japanese characters...

Um, I think this forum itself supports non-roman characters, so that shouldn't happen.. Is your computer's Japanese language support turned on? As in, can you type in Japanese characters directly, instead of copy & paste? If not, that could be the place to look at..

This forum supports all kinds of languages. One of the rare ones dated back 6 years ago when I started it and it morphed into different forums but I never let it go because of that capability. Most invisionfree forums on newer servers don't have that ability.
Make sure you download the Asian language pack from your operating system. I use Maxthon browser which could view most languages unlike some other more popular browser that can't read even Chinese.

I have installed the East Asian Language Support in Microsoft.. I can type in Japanese characters but when I click on the post preview, funny symbols like ‚ЂƂ肶‚á‚È‚¢ appeared again...
Thanks for the help provided anyway :) , I'll try to figure it out again

ah, maybe it's your browser then? sometimes for some weird reason, the browser would suddenly change encoding mid-way through refresh.. try manually changing it to either "Japanese (Shift_JIS)" or "Japanese (EUC-JP)"?

I still don't know what the problem is.. Somehow I can post japanese words elsewhere but not here. I ended up with some settings which are real weird. I think meanwhile I'll post in Romanji. thanks for your hlp :)
