I like Ayakashi. And I prefer the live version of Falling. Actually, the only version of Falling I've heard before this single is the live version.

Actually I like all of his songs in the new single - but just their melodies.

Hmm..the lyrics are not written by Koichi. Koichi is better at composing music than lyrics & that is why most Koichi's songs lyrics are not wriiten by him..the same goes for KinKi Kids songs, whereby Tsuyoshi will be writing the lyrics while Koichi composing the music~

Yes I prefer the live version of Falling too.. currently i think this is an okay single, because the songs kind of resemble his old songs.. Awaken yourself is kinda like Jealous train

I don't mind the overtly sexual lyrics so much. I have to agree with you though about sexy is not all about sex.
I don't like the PV for Ayakashi at all. I mean honestly, does Koichi really think we (his majority of female fans) want to see another woman touching him like that?! And as usual too. The same annoying group of female dancers that are always included with everything he does, they're in this PV too. That adds to my anger over that woman touching him. I don't want to see him surrounded by ANY women. Seeing that ruins what I want to imagine about the PV.

To me it would have been much sexier to see him dancing alone, just for the enjoyment of the viewer. It makes more sense to have filmed the PV like that. He did mention somewhere that you're supposed to use your ero thoughts when you watch or hear the song. Ero does not mean we surround Koichi with a bunch of women. Ero means Koichi dances alone so we can picture what we want to for the PV.

melting_snow, I think Koichi doesn't like writing lyrics for his songs because he thinks it's too personal - I believe one of the old magazine articles/interviews that Sandra translated some time ago mentioned it.

duotiger, I agree with you that the posse of female dancers in Koichi's PV is getting to be annoying, but for a different reason: I want to see variety in his song lyrics, not just ero songs

Ero lyrics per se doesn't bother me that much, but quite a few of his "recent" songs scream "sex" - and I think that's kinda cheap.
I think if he's serious about being a musician, he should be willing to explore different themes.
