Thanks for continuing with questions/rumours

A couple of reallly basic questions before I dive into another several hundred hours of painting prior to the new book

1. Herds still mixed ungor/gor?

2. Morghur still in list?

3. Morghur still spawn generating?


1] Herds are still a mix of Gors and Ungors. Also Beast Herds now rank up 5 models. Another small tidbit of information is the champion no longer adds +1LD to the Herd. [in 2-3 lists]

2-3] Did not ask too many questions on special characters. [as I do not use them myself] Next time I talk to my inside sorce, I will ask questions on the diffrent special characters. We talked about a Daemon Prince special character, that hits like a Bloodthirster in combat and Beast Herds can get a named special unit champion for Beast Herds. [he adds +1LD to the Herd] Also in 1-3 lists there is a named unit champion for Mino's also. So that might also make it into the book.

I'm sorry if this offends you but I think this new topic you have might not go done well with the current climate in the Stone. If you were to instead have a "Ask George" thread were anyone can aslk you questions instead of you deciding which one to answer it would be recieved better because the current thread comes across as a bit empowering to you.

So maybe change it a little. BTW my personnal question is what about the Shaggoth? Are we gettin g the special character as well? In fact are we getting more special characters? Do you know their rules?

Not offended at all. Plan to answer as many questions as possible. I just do not want this post get water down. Then I do not see the questions asked, I hope to get 2-3 done each day, I hit the Herdstone. I perfer questions to my inbox. Then see people post about the abswer to the questions.

Only 1/3 lists had the Shaggoth or the Dragon Ogres in it. That is a BAD sign that they might not make it in. Then again I know that new Dragon Ogres models are being made. So maybe GW get's greedy and adds them into the BoC army book? [trying to sell more models]

To bad we might loose that +1ld on herds, do that mean they get a higher basic LD or do we have a mainstay unit with LD ass running around after the new book? =P

I think Gav wrote Storms of Chaos. Aside from the final update, Storms of Chaos had awesome fluff. Even with totally unbalanced rules, Storms of Chaos was some of the most fun I've had playing Warhammer.

I've heard Andy Hoare as well, so it should be good I think.

Andy just did the LM. So there's his credentials for you.

Ultimately I think we will fit in with the current design phillosphy. I hope we don't get a DE job and are pushed back due to lack of interest.
