But it's easy for me, because I keep getting the play test lists. Since I'am the #1 rumour King of Chaos. Plus I get soooo tired of some forum member scraping for crumbs of garbage. When the book comes out, I will be proven sooooo right again.

Here a bone from the great GeneralofChaos....

* Tzeentch Beastlords & Tzeentch Wargors can NO longer cast spells, ONLY Tzeench Shamans can *

* Once again there is a flying Daemon Prince Special Character that hits like a Bloodthirster, unless it ends up gets scrapped *

* There is a Centigor hero that keeps showing up in play test lists *

* There is going to be BEAST MUTATIONS, it's again in all the play test lists I have looked at *

* Beastlords have a 9LD * [do you want his full new stat line next?]

As I said it's easy when you have the play test list, just like Daemons mark my words people.

note: Games Workshop, you need to do a much better job on rumours. As MC Hammer once said: "Can't Stop This" ......Hammer Time!

Any word on what the playstyle is like? Does it feel somewhat like the current list?

Is the marking similar to warriors of chaos? (Eg. Similar effects to what warriors get and same price across all the units).

I have looked at three diffrent copies of play test lists Decker. Now each one of them had the same marks as the Wariior of Chaos book. So I do not expect to see that to change. Looks like GW has made there mind up to keep the Chaos Marks in line.

Now Scactha Games-Workshop is toying with a 9LD big time. One list has a item that made him a 9LD. Then in another list it was built into his his state line. Then in the last list, it was a Mutation gift to give him a 9LD. On to the bad news, he is taking a magor hike up in point cost. His old point cost of 95 points is a thing of the past. So no more cheap Beastlord for our Beast army.

Garrzag there is no evil treeman in any of the three lists, that I have looked at. But it could be a Spawn Treeman with a new name in the new book? As Spawns now have D3 impact hits at S5, in two of the lists. You can even mark one as Slaanesh and that Always Strike First also. [love it]

Warpmaster the play testing lists have been toned down, from the very fist list to the last one I looked at. If you run the mini-Bloodthirster you will be on even par with the top 3 books, I believe or run a Doombull. You can also make a nasty character heavy list because of mutations. [can not copy the same mutation twice, Doombull get nasty hard quick] Now I feel the last list is pretty close to Lizardmen and WoC in terms of power so far. Depends if Centigors stay as core and count as Fast Cav still and Rune of True Beasts [Monster & Monster Characters can not attack back]. As this can keep us up with any army book, in a good player hands.

Before people go off and think Beast Mutations will take us over the top, we still do not get any Enchanted Items. Plus Foe-Render has lost it's Leadership bonus point in 2/3 lists. Plus we lost some of the better magical items since the first play test list.

Could you mark herds in the playtest list? Do they rank 5 wide?

Do you mean rank 5 vs 4 or less army facings?

I think "Can't Touch This" is what you are trying to quote.

I mean, "do they rank 5-wide as a minimum (in the same way they rank 4 wide right now)?"

If its question and answer time then i have a couple good ones.

1. Bestigors whats up?

2. Minotaurs still core with doombull?

3. Daemon prince.. We get one? or just special character.

4. Lores same as WoC?

5. they do anything to unruly, drunkenness, ambush, or raiders?

6. Spawns rare or special?

7. Herds get marks like marauders? Will they be as cheap?

On a good note the WoC marks are awesome on herds. So that's a bonus. Sad that they are screwing with our magic items.

Much like marauders, I imagine it would lead to legions of Slaanesh devotees - which would probably good for the propigation of the species.

Nurgle skirmishers would be hell to get rid of, that's for sure. Khorne skirmishers would be chaos (and therefore appropriate?). Not sure what a ward save would do for them without something to bump it.

Ahhh my Prince's ctregth grows even further...
