Well there is nothing much to show off yet but the Conquest competition in Christchurch (New Zealand) this year is going to be 1950 pts for WFB and allow ONE special character.
I'm planning to take Throgg the Troll King (who allows Trolls as Core troops) and a fair sized horde of trolls (could get just over 40 if Throgg was the only character). Trolls suck big time but who could resist running such a big horde of them. I have been collecting trolls for a while now, quietly confident that if I assembled enough in one place then a hole would be torn in the rules fabric of WFB and I would somehow be able to field them all (I am certain that it was my collection of 100+ ogres that lead to the Ogre Kingdom book being published). So far I have: 16 Citadel/Marauder trolls 6 Fenryll trolls 2 Heresy trolls Assorted troll-like ogres Assorted cheapie $2 shop troll like figures (no sheep allowed) So over the next 7 months I plan to paint these suckers up plus any other bits I require - no subs allowed from existing armies - whole brand new set of figures. Oh, great update, very nice! Love the trolls, are they old Citadel models, or?
I think that some youch ups with GS would be good, around the feet of the dragon ogres (you see the integral bases between their toes) and along the backs of the dogs. Any chance of more pics of the blue troll with horns and orange hair? -------------------- Eight Chicky Bits, is that a Chicky Byte?

They are a mixture of models - Ral Partha, Citadel, Fendryll. I'm not sure if I can be bothered to GS the hounds but the Dragon ogre toes will definitely get some attention. I will try and sort some more pictures of the troll you want - the model is actually the old Jess Goodwin mutant ogre - slightly collectable now as the model was so spikey it killed the mould. Wow that looks great
Where can you get the army list for a troll army? Or the rules/stats for Throgg? |

Some of the models I don't love, but overall I think the army looks great. Are you planning on playing the army with the units all separated by model type, or will you mix in the different model ranges? I think mixing will look much better for an overall army look, giving units a chaotic feel.
