More Random Battles, the new FFVIIs

I for one am both happy and afraid of the new pile of FF VII things that are coming out!

I'm happy cause i love FF VII (for reasons other then just Sephiroth and Vincent being hot. I actually like how confusing the plot is and is in my opinion the last interesting plot of the final fantasy series). I always wanted more stuff with the FF VII cast, cause I liked the characters and how it really seemed like there was a lot left unsaid.

I'm afraid because all the new stuff seems to be explaining the things that were left unsaid........I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I'm also scared casue there have been many instences of sequels being really bad and no where near as interesting as the original thing. Especially when people make a great game like FF VI or FF VII, then go on to make crappy romance stories diguised as a final fantasy game....I can only hope the new FF VII things will have the same feeling as the old game. The last thing i want is to see the FF VII cast and feel like I'm watching my brother play FF X-2.

I'm really thinking it's impossible for them to screw up FF VII so that i hate every new thing they make, but it still worries me.....

for those of you who are confused, the new FF VII stuff includes a movie (Advent Children) and 2 new games (Before Crisis which is a prequel about the turks i believe, and Dirge of Cerberus which is about vincent being cool......)

think about all the other Final Fantasy Movies (and TV show). They SUCKED!! what if that happens to 7? and every game past 7 has been declining in goodness (8-bad, 9-better than 8 and Funny, 10-to much of a romance story, 10-2, lets not go into it). So yeah, Tactics is the only good thing after 7....and 9.....kinda, but not as good.....well.......never mind

well, I can only hope all this FF VII stuff they're churning out is good....other wise I'll have to travel back in time, get them to switch 7 with 8, so 8 has the crappy graphics and 7 looks really cool (which is really all i want. I'd play through 7 all over again if they made the same game with better graphics) and then all shall be right with the world!

boo....Before Crisis is only in Japan and for the mobile phone....damn the mobile games!!! damn them to hell!!!....at least i can look foward to Devil may cry...i mean, Dirge of Cerberus coming out in america....i hope....

but on a lighter note, I'm pretty sure you get to play as cloud in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories...I've seen pics that look like that....okay, I'm kinda off the FF VII topic, but I am talking about cloud, so it's kinda okay.....

well..I'm kinda worried about that, too, Video games based of movies suck, so its only fair to assume movies based of video games would too, but I cant be shure...

Sequils/prequils are usually terrible...or mabie that just applys to Disney movies eather way I think well just have to wait and find out.

yeah, Resident Evil was good though in comparasin to other vg movies......but i know what you mean........still, certain sequel/prequels are good. I'm hoping Devil may cry 3 (prequel) will be good....considering the 2nd sucked ass

Well, yeah.. I mean, they can base an anime...erm..three anime off of Final Fantasy, why not a movie? But then again, keep in mind this is not being made in Japan
