May had woken up, got a strawberry milkshake, and sat by the bay window in her quarters for about an hour before Alpha shift began, sipping the milkshake and reading random literature from the 21st century. And wondering why people preferred centuries-old literature to that of the modern one...
Once she had finished her milkshake and tossed it in the replicator, she had thrown on a fresh uniform instead of her pale blue satin nightgown and marched out of her quarters, down the corridor past the door to Sickbay and chimed --repeatedly-- both Setek and Tuttle's doors. And as a sleepy Tuttle and not-so-perky Setek emerged, May had grinned and said loudly, emphasizing each word, "Good morning folks! Get up and at 'em! Come on, quit yawning and get to work!" With that she led her understaffed Alpha shift staff into Sickbay for another day. When they entered Sickbay, which was no more than ten meters from any of their quarters, May smiled cheerfully at Cal. "Gooooood morning! Slept well?" "I most certainly did not," Cal replied dryly. "Aww, GS got to ya did they?" She took a swipe at him with a tricorder. "Yes, you could say that... Can I leave now?" May nodded. "Yes. I do believe you can. Just be careful, and steer clear of falling beams." "Will do," replied Cal, rolling his eyes. As he walked out of Sickbay, May brandished the tricorder. "I saw that! Don't think I won't add an extra day to your next stay!" She turned to Setek and Tuttle. "Alright Setek, clean up the mess the GS left. And Jon, go up to the bridge and make sure the Captain hasn't gotten herself killed yet." -------------------- Dr. May Sandra, CMO, USS Pathfinder

David fiinished up his scrubbing of the Plasma conduit, and smiled as he pulled out of the Jefferies tube. Things had gone well today. With everything running smoothly and effiecently. And he only had to send one crew member to sick-bay his ACEO, Amos Fellows.
"And I'm telling you guys..." David heard Amos say to a group of Ensign's, "...You could see how beautiful Dr. Sandra is..." The Ensign's shook their heads in dissbelief and walked off. Amos the only warrant officer on the engineering staff shrugged and almost ran down David. "Sir," David heard the warrant officer reply, "I didn't mean to run over you...or just accidently..?" The Trill laughed slightly and said, "I understand...perfectly and completely." His next words changed the subject as he lead himself and Fellows to a nearby engineering console, "I'd like you and alpha team to refit the starboard nacelle control room." "Why?" Fellows asked. "Because, we're due for a re-fit of that section. I'd like to be ahead of things..." David started going off for several minutes on why he wanted things done then and there,"...And so that's the reason why. Ok AC?" Fellows had apparently started ignoring him, or something else...perhaps it was because of something in the air, "AC?...Fellow..." He finally got fed up, "Amos!" Amost snapped out of it, "Yes sir!" "Whats wrong Amos?" David said. Amos told him, and soon Warrant Officer Amos Fellows went off to complete the work he needed to get done on the nacelle re-fit...and what he didn't tell the CEO was the truth, of how he liked...May Sandra... -------------------- Lt. Kaylenn:
Kaylenn leaned forward slightly in her chair, looking at her desk for a moment before looking back up at Kosh. "Sandra submitted her report on the condition of your suit to me." She paused for a few seconds. "It is badly damaged and Sandra has no clue how to repair it. What are the chances of procuring a new one, Kosh? Really?" Kosh: Kosh was silent for another moment or two. Then she said, quietly, "Highly unlikely." Kaylenn: "In the event that we cannot find a replacement...what will you do? Have you given it any thought?" Kosh: Again, Kosh was silent. Even though she had in a way enjoyed the sparse times outside of her encounter suit, facing her lifetime in this horribly limited form was in no way ideal. And how long would she live like this? If this was her second chance at life...it was very ironic that it may only be a shortened chance. Finally, she nodded slightly. "Yes...some." Kaylenn: Kaylenn nodded back slowly. "You are welcome to stay aboard the Pathfinder. Even return with us if you wish. I just wanted you to know...you have that option available to you for as long as the Pathfinder is here." Kosh: Kosh stood up. "I will keep that in mind." She left the room, going across the bridge to the turbolift, not quite sure of where she intended to go. Kaylenn: Kaylenn stood up too, walking quickly after Kosh. "Wait." When Kosh turned, Kaylenn handed her a PADD. "Here's directions to your temporary quarters." She smiled slightly, and went back to the ready room. Kosh: Kosh took the flat, grey panel and glanced at it. "Computer...Deck Eight...Section C..." The doors whooshed closed and the lift began to descend. -------------------- Captain Kaylenn

Jonathan S. Tuttle: Jon rolled his eyes and left sickbay for the bridge. Kaylenn: Kaylenn, after returning to the ready room, walked over to the plant in the corner and touched a broad, bright green leaf. The plant quivered slightly. Just then the door chimed. "Come," Kaylenn called. Jonathan S. Tuttle: Jon entered the ready room and smiled slighty before rubbing a bit of sleep from his right eye. "Morning Captain." Kaylenn: Kaylenn smiled back. "Good morning. Let me guess...Sandra sent you here to check up on me?" Jonathan S. Tuttle: Tuttle nodded and yawned. "That's right." Kaylenn: She walked over to the chair behind her desk and sat down. "Well, I'm not dead." Jonathan S. Tuttle: He blinked. "How'd you know what she said?" Kaylenn: Smiling, Kaylenn replied, "I didn't. Just a really good guess based on what I know of her." She grinned. Jonathan S. Tuttle: Tuttle smiled and rubbed his eyes again. Kaylenn: She stood up again and went over to the replicator. "What kind of coffee?" Jonathan S. Tuttle: Tuttle blinked again. "How did you know..." Kaylenn: "You're obviously tired." She grinned again. Jonathan S. Tuttle: "Well being woken up by our CMO isn't my favourite way of waking up." Kaylenn: "I don't think being buried alive in tribbles could compare..." Jonathan S. Tuttle: Tuttle laughed. "So how are you Captain?" Kaylenn: "I'm alright. How about you?" She replicated some generic coffee and handed it to Tuttle, not knowing his preference. Jonathan S. Tuttle: Tuttle yawned again. "Like I said, being woken up by our CMO isn't my favourite way of waking up... or being woken up. How's your baby?" Kaylenn: "Also alright." Kaylenn smiled again. Jonathan S. Tuttle: Jon smiled back. Kaylenn: "Well...I think I'm going to go get some sleep...things seem to have calmed down." Jonathan S. Tuttle: Jon nodded. "Sleep well Captain." Kaylenn: She nodded back. "You too if you decide to." Jonathan S. Tuttle: Tuttle smiled again. "I have work to do." Kaylenn: "Alright." She smiled back and looked up as Benson exited the turbolift. "Cal. You have the bridge." Then she walked across the bridge to the other turbolift and headed for her quarters. ===J/P by:=== =Captain Kaylenn= =Ens. Jonathan S. Tuttle= =========== -------------------- Captain Kaylenn
