Plot/Intro: It has been ten years since the fall of the Dark Lord, since the Boy Who Lived defeated him for the second time. The wizarding world has lived in peace since that fateful day on which so many lost their lives.

The Minister for Magic along with the Aurors tracked down the remaining Death Eaters and sentenced them to imprisonment at Azkaban. The Order of the Phoenix, with no one left to fight, disbanded but remained close. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry re-opened it’s doors with a new Headmaster and the children who call the ancient castle home continue to live, love and learn.

Four months ago, an unknown number of Death Eaters escaped from Azkaban and even the greatest Aurors have been unable to track them down. During the annual celebration of the fall of the Dark Lord, the festivities were cut short when during the firework display, the Dark Mark was seen dancing in the night sky. The familiar fear that had gripped them all a decade before returned to the hearts of many.

Weeks later, the first disappearance was reported. A former member of the Order was snatched, with no trace and no clue to her whereabouts. Wizarding families the country over went into hiding, for fear that they would meet their fate. The Order has started to reform, with new members and old joining the Aurors in their search for the escapees and the source of the Dark Mark.

Aurors have also taken up residence within the walls of Hogwarts, hoping to afford its inhabitants something like a normal life. But rifts are beginning to show within the community. The old wounds between Muggleborns and Purebloods have slowly started to re-open, and the wizarding world is at risk of dividing down the middle.

With rumours circulating that the Death Eaters are once again trying to recruit new members, many fear that they will soon need to take a side: to stand with the Dark, or against it.
