[ THE BASICS ]

Name : Heather Genevieve Aubrey

Age : 16

Preferred Year : 6th

Preferred House : 1st choice: Ravenclaw, 2nd choice: Gryffindor

[ THE DESCRIPTION ]

Height: 5 ft. 1 in.

Weight: 136 lbs

Eye Color: Dark brown

Hair Color/Style: Heather’s hair is a medium brown colour, and naturally very straight. She always wondered what it would be like to have been born with curly hair, but knew that, like it or lump it, she had to live with her straight hair. On occasion, though, she will style it so it’s in a kind of wave. Heather has kept her hair very long since she was seven, down to the middle of her back, and she likes it that length, never mind the tangled mess it is in the morning. Sometimes she’ll put her hair in a ponytail or multiple braids, but usually just wears it down.

Overall Appearance: Heather has always been very petite, short, with a relatively curvy figure. No amount of high heels will get her make her look more than a few inches taller than she really is, whether she likes it or not. Her face is another thing entirely. Blessed with a peaches and cream complexion, Heather wears only a little blush, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, and the slightest bit of lipstick.

After shedding her braces at age 12, Heather revealed that she had a smile that was to-die-for, her large mouth full of teeth, which once seemed oversized and awkward, finally fit her face. Once she hit her teen years, she developed her own sense of style, playing with retro hairstyles and clothes. When she’s not in Hogwarts uniform, you’ll usually find her wearing loose-fitting jeans and peasant blouses, with a pair of comfortable sneakers on her feet. Her beauty, however, is not in whole natural. She practices personal hygiene vigorously, to keep zits and cavities at bay. Dark eyes that always seem to have an excited sparkle about them are met with equally dark eyelashes and eyebrows. Her eyebrows could be described as relatively thin, compared with other girls, but seem to suit her.

Over all, Heather is an attractive girl, in part because of time, and because she takes care of herself, and also partly to genetics. Of course she has her flaws, bad hair days, break outs, and the like, but what she lacks in looks, she makes up for in her character.

[SIZE=3][ THE PERSONALITY ]

Strengths: Heather is an extremely optimistic girl. She likes to look on the bright side of everything, the silver lining in a dark cloud, if you will, and always seems to have something to smile about. Adding to her happy nature, she's also adventurous and rambunctious. Nothing seems to intimidate her, and this can work to her advantage on days when someone decides to pick on her, or challenge her to something they don't think she would have the guts to do, but she can sometimes be hyper to the point of exhaustion of others. Another thing she's known for is her love of books and love to learn. She adores learning new things and relishes moments when she can lose herself in a book. Her enthusiasm for learning results in her getting good marks in all her classes, and her ultimate success.

Weaknesses: She can be too driven at times, to the point of recklessness, her fearlessness and need to do well can sometimes lead her in to sticky situations. Or up in a tree. She also has a colossal temper, when she's angry, you'd better watch out, because she can get madder than a hornet's nest, which sometimes puts her at odds with her peers. Adding to her recklessness and temper, she is also pretty much tactless. She'll say what's on her mind, and to heck with the rest. If you do something that upsets her, she'll let you know, and will dogmatically fight for what she believes in. Sometimes to the point that it gets her in trouble with authority figures.

Skills: Heather has a good memory and love for details, which leads to her excellence and fondness of History of Magic. She also has an apptitude as well as a passion for Potions, and a general love for Transfiguration. Aside frome schoolwork, she has a love for language and singing, she's fluent in Hebrew, Greek, French, Spanish, Tamil, and Russian, and is currently learning Hindi and German. As for her singing, she is an Alto who has had vocal training since age three, and is now pursuing Opera training in her spare time.

Inabilites: Heather is absoloutley hopeless at subjects such as Divinitation, Herbology, and Aritmancy. She's never had a green thumb at all, not even with muggle gardening, and has always been a lost cause with numbers. Divinitation, well, Heather's always found the subject quite silly and altogether pointless. She also sometimes has difficulty in Care of Magical Creatures.

Likes: Heather loves Astronomy and Ancient Runes, although her grades sometimes flip-flop from good to just so-so, she also loves ice skating, even if she does nothing but fall, which is usually what she does. She also likes Charms a lot, but tends to procrastinate with the homework, which can sometimes take a toll on her grades in that class.

Dislikes: She absoloutely, positively hates Arithmancy, not only can she not do it, but she hates it with a passion, and she would probably still hate it, even if she wasn't rubbish at it. Another subject she hates is Divinitation, she doesn't even really bother to make an effort with the homework, she finds it silly and stupid, and really isn't sure why they're required to take it at Hogwarts. Defense Against the Dark Arts isn't exactly what Heather considers a picnic in a meadow, sometimes she wishes that they could just get to the point of things and just learn the spells, but she recognises that learning how to defend herself will be very beneficial, so she puts up with it. As for spare time things, she hates doing needlepoint. The only reason she does it is to keep her Gran happy, but she grumbles all the while.

Hobbies: She sings and dances, those two are her favourites, and she also loves to read books, and write them, too! She hasn't gotten published, but hopes to, one day. Sometimes, when she's in the mood, she'll draw, but that can be anywhere from twice in a day or six months since the last drawing. She loves to fly, not so much play Quidditch as to just flying on her broom, she loves how it feels to be high up in the air, seeing things from a different angle and that kind of thing. Some other things she does, mostly to oblige her parents or her Grandmother, include scrapbooking, sewing, needlepoint, and playing the violin.

Overall Personality: Heather is naturally an upbeat and outgoing person. Bubbly and opinionated, with a temper to boot, she can be a bit saucy at times, and isn't afraid to take a dare. She talks about a mile a minute, and gestures with her hands, illustrating her enthusiasm for life and learning. She's extremely ambitious and aims to please, trying her hardest to get top marks in all her classes, even the ones she's not particularly good at, and the ones she dislikes. Sweet as she is, she has a devilish side and is a terrible hothead when she's mad, and isn't afraid to stand up to someone who's giving her or any of her friends a hard time.

With a head full of smarts, and overflowing with thoughts and ideas, she naturally excels at nearly any academic activity possible, and is driven to succeed. She tries so hard, sometimes too hard, which can stress her out and give others reason to make fun of her, which will set off her terrible temper. Brutally honest, but fair, she tries to be polite to everyone, when she can. She doesn't try to hurt somebody's feelings, but she's just so honest, sometimes she does it without realising it. Heather, knowing how different every one person is, and how stereotypes don't always apply to everyone, she's determined to give everyone a fair chance, even Slytherins.

[ THE HISTORY ]

Birthdate: May 4, 1997

Blood Type: Muggleborn

Parents: Arthur James Aubrey (deceased), Madeline Evangeline Aubrey-O'Brian, Thomas Josiah O'Brian (Step-dad)

Siblings: Bartholemew Allan Aubrey (23), Samantha Leanna O'Brian (26), Kurt Willis Aubrey-O'Brian (9), Millie Elise Aubrey-O'Brian (6), Damien Johnathan Aubrey-O'Brian (6), Jack David Aubrey-O'Brian (3)

Biography: Heather Genevieve Aubrey was born in a flat in Cardiff, Wales, to two muggle parents, Arthur Aubrey, and his wife Madeline. For the first three years of her life, Heather lived a relatively quiet life with her parents, Dad, a shopkeeper, and Mum, who ran an in-house hat business, and her brother Bartholemew (or Bart, for short) who was seven years older than her. And things stayed normal until, in mid-August of the year 2000, her father was shot and killed when two bulky men attempted to rob his shop, getting caught and serving a ten-year sentance for manslaughter and attempted robbery. Madeline was distraught over the loss of her husband, now having to cover the rent for both the flat and the store, and maintaining the store while merging it with her hat business, not to mention caring for a ten year-old and a three year-old. Matters became even more complicated the next year when Bart, the eldest, found out that he was a wizard. Now, on top of having to cover muggle expenses, they had to worry about expenses for school. But, as the saying goes, every dark cloud has it's silver lining, while seeing Bart off on Platform 9 ¾ (and Heather bemoaning the fact that she couldn't go with her brother), Madeline and Heather met a wizard man named Thomas O'Brian, who was waving goodbye to his Third-year daughter, Samantha. They began seeing each other after a while, and a year later, married just before Bart and Sam went back for their 2nd and 4th years.

At age 6, Heather began to show significant signs that she was a witch, as her brother was a wizard. For instance, in the first grade (her mother didn't see any reason why she should miss primary school, witch-to-be or no) a mean little girl by the name of Sara pushed her down, and she was so angry that out of nowhere a stick came flying at Sara and hit her, making a loud thumping noise as it did. She wasn't severely hurt, other than gaining a nasty bump on her head, and no one could prove that Heather was the culprit of the whole mess. A year after that incident, Heather's mother and stepfather had a small boy, and named him Kurt. Heather was overjoyed at the prospect of having a sibling, since her brother and stepsister were already at Hogwarts. Three years later, she gained two more siblings, twins, named Millie and Damien.

A year later, some time after her 11th birthday, Heather was ecstatic to find a letter from Hogwarts adressed to her, she could hardly wait. After shopping for all her books and robes and all the things she would need (and convincing her parents to let her get an owl), on the first day of September she was all set, and couldn't wait to begin her adventures at Hogwarts.

Her first five years at Hogwarts were, for the most part, pretty uneventful. She maintained very good grades, thanks to her love for learning, and she eventually made friends, both in and out of her House. In her Third year, she recieved the happy news that her baby brother, Jack, had been born in early December, and she couldn't wait for winter break so she could see the latest addition to her family. Years Four and Five weren't much different from previous years, the work got a little harder, she picked up more classes, and the boys got a little better looking. Through it all, she's still been the same, upbeat, outgoing person she was born to be.

Noah Hartwick walked through the hallways of the large school, his schedule in one hand and his very large Transfiguration book in the other. It was his first day of classes in the wizard school, and, as a muggleborn, he was completely fascinated by the moving pictures and the magical treats. There was just one problem with the new school... that was its size. The brown-eyed Hufflepuff took large strides through the stone corridor which, according to the Slytherin prefect he'd just talked to, would lead him straight to McGonagall's classroom.

The young boy continued his journey, becoming slightly more panicked as time went by and he still couldn't find his destination. The last thing he wanted was to start off on the wrong foot with his new professors, and being late would definately put him on the teacher black list. Had he made a wrong turn somewhere? Along the way, he spotted a fellow student rushing down the hallway, apparently late for their class as well. Glad for this good fortune, Noah ran up to the fast walking student. "Excuse me, could you show me where the Transfiguration room is?" he asked with a blush, "I can't find it."

Heather Aubrey leaned against the wall in one of the corridors of Hogwarts chewing on her quill. Her next class didn’t start for a little while, so she had time to correct her spelling on her homework from the night before. “Just…a…minute…mmmm…there! All done.” she said to herself, tossing her long brown hair and putting her homework and quill back into her satchel. She smoothed out her robes and looked around, blinking her dark brown eyes. “Well, what now?” she muttered. She nibbled on her pinkie nail in contemplation, her brow furrowed. Then she saw the time, “Uh-oh, I miscalculated the amount of time it would take me to correct the spelling and get to class, if I don’t hurry, I’ll definitely be late!!” with that, Heather set off at a run. The halls were empty except for her, everyone else, she supposed, had somewhere that they needed to be. Or they had gotten to class on time. Just as she was thinking this, she saw someone else turn into the corridor. A small Hufflepuff boy, as it were, looking lost and confused. I wonder if he’s a Muggleborn like me? Heather wondered as the boy stumbled towards her. She stopped and turned to him to see what he wanted.

"Excuse me, could you show me where the Transfiguration room is?" he asked with a blush, "I can't find it."

Heather smiled that big smile of hers. She remembered what it was like to be new, not quite sure how things were done at Hogwarts, she was lucky enough to have had someone to help her then, why not show a little kindness herself? “Hi there!” she bubbled. “You must be new. I’m Heather Aubrey, a Sixth Year. I’m guessing you’re new. Don’t worry, I went through the same thing when I was a First year, but then, I’m a Muggleborn.” Heather pointed. “The Transfiguration class is down that hall, make a left, and then two rights, and then another left, walk four paces after tha-” she shook her head. “Y’know, I’m going that way, anyway, why don’t I just walk you down there? Would you like that?” Heather gestured for him to follow her. “So, when did you first find out you were a wizard? Did you know from the time when you were really little?”
