3... 2... 1...
(( OOC: No time frames. No expectations. This could have happened before or after Soel'for, I'll let the first repliers decide if their characters are present. This could be anything. ))
The black robed figure took a deep breath as another giant wave of snow crashed hard against his body, shattering ice and plumes of white smoke drowned scattering in a half circle behind him.
Blistering snow flew in waves around the Castle courtyard. It was amazing he had come this far. Stealth and the lack of inhabitants had brought him a far way, but now he was fighting tooth and nail against the few defenders who had rallied in support of the Castle.

Julius Sarantine stood atop a parapet, looking down as a magician of some kind brought chaos against the cloaked invader. He walked with a casual stride, each one of his lackluster steps carrying him a great distance around the perimeter. He reached a stone statue, an ancient gargoyle, and kneeling with it's hand curled beneath it's chin, Julius tapped it on it's shoulder. His calm voice was strangely audible amidst the near hurricane winds. "Wake up." he whispered clearly, soothingly into the Gargoyle's ear. "We have visitors."
~~~
The magic user waved his hand and staff.
Giant white lions made of snow and ice shook the ground with their paws as they leapt and pounced through the maelstrom, shuddering earth and cracking ice.
The black robed stranger was making little ground now, pelted by the icy upheaval aimed directly at him. Drawing sword and spinning in half circle as their shadows cast upon him, an arcing lance of air exploded against the leaping lions, cleaving their towering forms in half.
Another crashing wave of ice broke upon him, smashing against his body.
The black cloaked stranger was showing no signs of relenting.
