These are the rules we live by on the DLAA Forums because we want this to be a happy, friendly place. If you have any questions, please contact an administrator or a moderator and someone will be happy to clarify a rule for you.

Double Posting
If you would like to add something to the previous post you made, please use the button in the top right hand corner instead of double posting.

Spamming
Please refrain from posting useless messages like "Uh" and other single-sentence posts, as they serve no purpose and clog up the forums. Nothing special happens when you get a certain number of posts, so there really isn't a point to trying to boost your post count. Please also try not to drag up old topics. A good guideline is not to post in topics that have not had responses in a week or two.

Begging
Please don't use the forums for begging. This includes begging for pets, begging for items or Neopoints.

Lab Journals
Lab Journals are for DLAA Partners only. Why not try using a pet page to track your pet's zapping progress if you're not a partner.

Harrassment
In any form, this will not be tolerated on our forums. Please be nice and treat others as you would like to be treated. Harrassment includes but is not limited to: name calling, sending harrassing PMs, making posts and/or threads simply to be mean to someone, using the information you find on our forums to harrass someone via Instant Messenger, email or Neomail.

Listing Pets for Adoption
Listing pets at DLAA is for partners only, that keeps things tidier for us. Try a site like TNO or AGA. Advertising on the Neoboards, in pet pages, pet lookups and guilds are also great ways to get your pet adopted.

Scamming
If you are caught trying to scam in any form, your forum account will be immediately suspended. It is up to administrator discretion whether this will be a permanent or temporary suspension. Scamming includes, but is not limited to: pretending to be Neopets Staff, telling people you will give them pricey items (ie a paintbrush) for buying items from your shop, asking for anyone's Neopets password. The DLAA Staff recognizes the difference between being nice and taking advantage. Please don't think this is a place for you if you are attempting to scam in any form, on Neopets or any other website.

Warning System
The DLAA forums has a warning system in place. Only you and the administrators can see your warning level. If you receive a warning, your warning level will go up to 25%. 2 warnings = 50% 3 Warnings = 75% and a temporary suspension from the forums. 4th warning = 100% and you will be permanently suspended from the forums.

Warnings are only given by the administrators. Warnings are made at the discretion of the administrative team. If we see something that requires our immediate attention, depending on the severity of the offense, the warning may differ from the usual pattern. All warnings are given with the approval at least 2 people from the administrative and moderation teams.

If you feel that you have been warned undeservingly or that your warning was harsher than you feel is necessary for the offense, please send a PM to the administrator who issued the warning. If after contacting that administrator, you still feel that your punishment is unfair, please contact a second and final administrator though a polite PM.
