Welcome to the new look of Cubs Kingdom with the same friendly atmosphere and great discussions of the Chicago Cubs. Get ready as Spring Training is right around the corner.

Nicely done Joe. The place needed sprucing up. ;)

Fantasy Baseball is also around the corner folks, so pipe up if you're interested!

Glad to see this place is still alive. I haven't been able to get into the site for a few months (it just refused to load, not sure why), but it works fine now with the new setup.

It looks like the old domain name (http://www.cubskingdom.com) expired and you now have to use the old invisionfree address: http://z2.invisionfree.com/Cubs_Kingdom/

Glad to see back CraziCub!

I was just thinking about you all a couple of weeks back when I realized that because my Windows puter died (I have since bought a Mac!), my faves got lost. And then I couldn't find the URL on google, so I asked someone on NSBB and they had a link, but said that the place was pretty dead.

Do we have any means of changing the wallpaper? My screen is really bright white!

Hi KatJ,

I don't have any other themes installed. They are a royal pain on InvisionFree boards. I'll look into maybe trying to gray/off-white the background when I get a chance. It's pretty dead right now. There isn't much Cub news coming out. hopefully after spring training we'll get some more people coming around.

Don't know what has happened to Chris (DD). It appears the old domain (www.cubskingdom.com) has been allowed to expire so you have to use the invisionfree address to get here.

Macs do some things soooo much better than PCs. Music composition, playback and sheetmusic printing being my primary concerns.

I'm glad someone at NSBB obliged and gave the addy. I don't go over there, but perhaps I should as the Cubs.com board is just about worthless these days. The party thread is about the only place I visit there any longer.
Tit for tat, what's NSBB's address. I've no doubt the account I created over there is long dead.

Here's hoping to more visits and conversation. Hendry gets a strong arm for the starting rotation and this place will pick up. ;)

Here ya go Art...

Northside Baseball Forums

My only complaint with NSBB is they are so stat heavy it makes me sleepy sometimes. But there is a lot of discussion. They have a 170 page thread on Brian Roberts. That's insane.

Oh yeah. I'm on a Mac too. No spyware...no viruses.

I changed the bright white background to a light gray so maybe it won't blind you as much now.

That's about how I feel about that site, too. I like to lurk there just because it's better than Cubs.com, but I don't post there often, and don't like the insane obscure stat emphasis.

Well, if you were a college kid with a bunch of time on your hands, stats might be more entertaining?

Seriously, though, the game threads can be fun - plus they really boost your post numbers, which makes you look like you spend even more time on there than you actually do.

I am a college kid with time on my hands, and they're still boring :) And you're right, the game threads are great. I really appreciate the comments in them (especially all the sarcasm and jokes) during games I can't watch.

Welcome back DCT. Before you know it the flowers will be blooming, the grass turning green, and the sound PLAY BALL! heard across the land. I can't wait. I think I have cabin fever.
