Ame fighting Werewolf - Commission drawn and colored by Felabba. (click on pic for full version)


GENERAL INFORMATION

Name: Amethyst Age: 21 Gender: Female Race: Human/Japanese Height: 5'6" Occupation: Wanted baikokudo (traitor to China And a few other places). Large bounty on her head throughout the Dream as well. For, well... Killing people, pillaging, starting barfights, the list goes on...
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Build: Well toned- not petite, but not buff. Skin color: Tanned/olive-toned. Hair: Long, reaching down to her butt, black in color. Part of it is tied at the shoulders, not the base of the head like normal, into a ponytail. Her bangs reach down to her chin and don't cover the face, they're mainly split into 2 parts; on the sides. However, there is a small part in the middle that remains in her eyes, but isn't shown to be as long as the rest of her bangs. (see reference pictures below) Eye Color: Dark Green Clothing: 3 robes (like a gi). Inner most sleeveless and grey, second robe regular and dark green. And outer robe also green, but not fastened by the sash (sash is either black or a very dark brown). Also wears brown pants (think Japanese) and sandals. See pictures at bottom of profile for better detail. She wears the heavy robes and such to make herself look stronger. Tattoo's, etc etc, and other:: Ame has the traditional 'traitor' mark tattooed rather painfully on her left shoulder - which she keeps hidden. Her body is also riddled with scars due to life and being attacked constantly cause of her bounty.
ACCESSORIES

A rather long tachi (curved 2-handed katana normally used on a horse or to whack off a horse. Amethyst usually uses it to fight person to person with), in her robes are the following: ominous throwing knives and smokebombs, a bottle of anti-venom, a bottle of sake (makes sure to keep replenished, ya know), a few unneeded maps, a wanted poster of herself, a stolen flute she never plays, and a few other unimportant items(like a handkerchief and hair brush). Pets:Once upon a time, when Ame was very small, her father brought her a large rat-like creature from a raid (hasn't been determined if it was an opposum that somehow got overseas or a tanuki with mange). She named it Binky kitty (just Binky for short).

ABILITIES AND SKILLS

Has mastered a personal branch of sword fighting - that is mainly in counterattacks and frontal attacks with sword. Can also use a staff, tessen, or other katana-like weapons if forced to (though doesn't carry any of said weapons. She only owns a tachi). Is also good at being stealthy, agile, and has wonderful dexterity when wounded to a certain extent (because of sevier adrenalin rush). It's supposedly rumored that if Ame gets repeatedly beaten on, the adrenalin rush will force her to go completely psycho - though this hasn't as of yet happened in TheDream.
CURSES

In the perform thread 'Trouble at a Town Named Tranquility', Amethyst has been cursed as a werewolf during moons and nights. While this wont be presented in every thread, when it is the changes will be very random. She takes Belladonna to keep the curse at bay for most of the time as well. As a wolf, the woman has no control over what she may do, more or less what she may eat. How she responds to this through personality and such will have to be learned if you happen to play with her before, during, and after a dark spooky night on just such a thread.

PERSONALITY

Amethyst is mostly seen as a battle-worn individual who either just wants to be left alone, get away from it all, or pissed off into fighting her way out of a problem so she can be left alone. She considers everyone with a wariness and distrust. And she drinks (mostly sake or ale) all the time, though only to get relief from her bad memories and problems. Ame swears to an unhappy extent. The woman is blunt and truthful a good portune of the time. To end this drawn out personality, Ame's stubborn, often misunderstanding what others say - Expecially if they aren't being blunt. Other notes on personality: Amethyst absolutely hates men. She can stand being around them, and was even trained by one. But due to her past, she will never consider a man a friend Ever. Also on her hate list - The Meiji gov't, Yakuza, anthros, demihumans, any animal that talks (with exception of dragons), mechanical futuristic things (including cars), robots, guns. Er, the list goes on. Most hatred towards anthros,machines, robots and the such is due to culture shock from entering TheDream. While she hates so many things, the woman will NOT go out and try to attack or kill them all. She's too stubborn to. When seeing a man or anthro, she will not immediately attack. But will take out the time to be overly cautious and hateful of them. Ame will not drink alone unless she REALLY needs the alcohal. Weaknesses: Sides for being illiterate, I'm not going to put anything else in this category. Seriously, if I put 'being normal human from 1830's without powers' and have it listed as a weakness, people would hate me. If you want to learn about her weaknesses, just read this entire profile. You can pinpoint a handful of things the woman would be weak over. Or, just rp with her and learn them. Ame isn't rped like some god or pushover, she's rped just like this profile lists. If drawn or written about, it's best to consider her via 'personality' as a worn out, constantly hunted, wary individual that likes to be alone. Because she is Far from a complete bitch, and Is Not a whore or slut. Don't go drawing or writing her out of character...
BRIEF HISTORY

Amethyst was born to a woman whom ran from home unprepared and a bandit by the name of Kireaji. Both surprisingly Japanese, though neither were currently in Japan (more to the north of India). A year afterwards her original mother ran off for her own reasons, leaving Ame with a father who left home often to go pillage towns with his gang. Now taken care of by an second mother (that Kireaji sought out since he didn't wanna take care of Ame) that was terribly abusive and a father that didn't care, Amethyst grew up to age 12. This was when another group of bandits came, destroyed town, killed her fake mother, and it was presumed Kireaji was killed as well. Still young and very inexperienced, little Ame followed the bandits that killed her family, attacked them, and - in a strange turn of events - was taken in by them and made part of their group. From there, the woman was taught the ropes. How to fight, how to raid, how to cook, how to wash her clothes, and the such. She was surprisingly treated well for a woman. But this wouldn't last long... Almost two years later, the bandits stuck their swords into the wrong town, and found themselves in the center of a war. Most of them were killed, though Amethyst and the rest were taken in as slaves. Amethyst only escaped from slavery when one of the majors in command had pulled her from the group for his own naughty needs - to which she killed him, killed others in the room that watched, and killed those on her way out to a largely wooded area just outside the Majors' home. There was a long game of cat and mouse as Amethyst ran from a large bounty that dogged her every step. It was a handful of months. This is where Ame hit the border to china - at the edge of another war - and captured due to her bounty. Though not relinquished to the previous owners and instead branded on the shoulder with the tattoo of a baikokudo (traitor) and taken as Yet another slave. However this endeavor went a different route. After watching her, a man by name of Hiko (who's not on MZDM) who worked as a general took her from the rank of 'slave' and forced her to work under him. He practically adopted her as his daughter. Learned of her past. Taught her how to use a sword properly. And helped her escape by leading her to the waters and shipping her off in a rather crude boat before getting killed (as Ame watched without being able to help) for his disrespectful sinful actions. Now in Japan, Amethyst joined up with a female thief by the coincidental name: Obsidian. Obsid went from town to town and basically took care of Ame until they both reached a good age of 21. Sure there were a few separations here and there, but their friendship was good. However... The two were separated in an ambush from bountyhunters around Edo. Ame was badly wounded, however made it alone to a town. Getting a place in an alley, falling asleep, and ending up in The Dream (in a pretty field of flowers, wierd eh?). After entering The Dream, Amethyst has been under constant attack. Not only under the bounty that was Still somehow shadowing her every movement, but also by monsters and the such. She never gets a peaceful moment. And because of that, Ame refers to the NK's Coma as 'The Nightmare'.

Something practical for a hunted soul. The ring was hand carved almost 800 years ago by the same monks who trained me. It was enchanted by myself and later 2 visiting sorceresses to have 3 gifts that its wearer could call upon. My spell was one of speed and endurance. Once per day the wearer can invoke the rings rejuvenating power. When the power is used it will wipe away all feelings of fatigue as well as increase the users running speed for a period of time. This has proven quite useful at the end of battle to escape the vengeful. The first of the two sorceresses enchanted the ring with a defensive spell. So long as the ring is worn it will glow bright green in the presence of poisons and drugs as well as red in the presence of enchantments. With this one need not fear a sleeping potion slipped into ones Sake or a petrification spell upon a gift for you will always know when they are present. The last enchantment was one of escape. 3 times, and only 3 times, the ring can summon forth what is called a shadow door. This door, despite its appearance, is real enough to walk through and when you do the door will take you to wherever you consider safe. The shadow door will remain in place as long as you wish it too so that others may follow you if that was your wish. You may also close it instantly to prevent others from following." She has of yet hasn't used the ring, but keeps it around in one of her robe pockets. In The Tales of Dragons, Slayers, Pigs, and Things: Shishiosa breaks Ame's sword and offers to make her a new one. As of yet the new sword hasn't been made (damn dragon), but when it is I'll put down more info.

Scars: Santo has procured many scars on his body from different incidents in his life. His obvious one is on his left cheek. An 'X' is placed there. Three claw marks on his neck approx. 2 inches apart came from his half-drow mother. One more distinct mark is on his chest and stomach reaching from his lower right hip bone to his upper left shoulder. It was inflicted by himself the first time he went into his blind rage. Many other small scars are cut through his forearms, legs and hands, but they are mostly covered by his upper and lower gear.

Coloration: Dark, tanned skin marked with cuts all over his body. Dark red hair with long bangs barely overlapping his eyes

Eye Color: Grey w/ blueish tints

Clothing / Armor:

Black Thief - Dark clothing for natural hiding, patches of red and dark blue. He carries a white hooded outfit when in the extreme day time.

White Thief - Silver/White hooded outfit which is usually worn in bright cities and in the winter.

Occupation / Class: Thief/Con Artist

Affiliations: Had a run-in with Katsuhiko when he first entered the Dream. Lately, Amethyst is on his good side.

Weapons:

Kukri w/ karda and chakmak: The Kukri or Khukuri is an ancient heavily curved weapon, commonly shaped like a fish, that is used as a weapon and a tool; length from handle to tip is approximately 15". The Karda and Chakmak are both inserted inbetween the Kurki and the hilt. The karda is a small utility knife used for skinning and cutting rope. The chakmak is unsharpened or blunted and is used to burnish the blade of the Kukri. It is also used with flint to start fire.

Lock Pick - A Thief isn't complete without the ability to pick locks and disarm traps. Santo wears a pouch on his non-dominant side full of lock picks and ball bearings.

Rope w/ Tri-Hook - Silence and quickness is a factor with getting in and out of situations. Ascending and Descending a tall building or mountain requires rope and a way to firmly attach it to the surface.

Pets: Albino ferret named luz

Abilities/Skills & Power Level:

Meloris - The demon inside the thief's body which controls his heat and rage abilities. Meloris is a demi-god of fire and chaos. He has six arms each weilding a fire elemental sword of different powers individually. Meloris is also a master of speed and stealth. Santo's father summoned the monster and was accidently drawn into Santo's body where he tries to get out anyway he can. Santo was given his trance ability (see below), but it had its limits. If not controlled by Santo, he can go into a blind rage (see below) where Meloris takes over.

Trance - Santo can go into a trance-like state where he can temporarily double his speed and stamina at the cost of losing his consciousness. Heat and steam can be seen protruding out his pores. It is mostly used for escaping and only as a last resort of attack.

Camouflage - He is able to blend in to most background through various means of camouflage, different clothing and situational awareness.

Capoeira Master - Finally, he is a master of Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art called the Dance or the Game. It is marked by fluid acrobatic play, feints, and extensive use of sweeps, kicks, and headbutts. Less frequently used techniques include elbow-strikes, slaps, punches, and body throws. It gives the thief dexterity in both his hands and his feet. "Only the Strong" is one of the best movies to explain Capoeira.

Weaknesses:

Blind Rage - When Trance becomes uncontrollable and Santo hesitates or fears the end is near, he will go into a Blind Rage where his body temperature greatly rises which turns his body darker and darker until he is as dark as a smoking shadow. He'll feel no pain. With his speed quadrupled now, he will then blindly slash and kill anything in his path until his body can not take the stress and faints, or when someone stronger can knock out the thief rendering him unconscious.

Greed - Santo is also highly greedy and curious. He would do almost anything for a coin piece. He prefers to be by himself, but his amnesia forces him to interact with others to help him cure his illness.

Special Effects (if any): Trance temporarily doubles his speed and stamina at a cost of himself losing his consciousness; means for thiefing quickly or escaping.

Description of Personality: Santo likes his personal space do to the fact that he doesn't trust others that well. He has great honor among survivors, i.e. pirates, the poor, children, etc. Santo has great respect for thieves, but knowing them too well, he definitely can't trust them. He will only intervene in a conflict if it is beneficial to his cause. Santo's greedy attitude sometimes puts him into situations where he'll do almost anything to acquire that item, gold, etc.

Brief History: Developed amnesia from a tragic accident or theft gone wrong and doesn't remember anything from the past except for his pet and his abilities. He wakes up bloodied and does not know why.

Black Belt - 2' thick black leather belt connected to a bright silver buckle.

Gloves - Fitted black leather gloves with the tips cut off to let the General feel with his skin. The wrist sectoin of the gloves are wrapped around his wrist twice over and buttoned to itself.

Formal Military Hat - Formal Grey Military Hat with a Silver Chaos symbol screwed into it.

Grey Cape - Laced heavily with a thick grey thread, his cape is just fire proof and keeps him warm if he is cold.

Abilities/Skills & Power Level:

AI Chip - Dragão's AI chip was created by a government-funded special forces combat unit. It was an experimental chip implanted into the host's brain to calculate and modify the host's muscular structure and increase brain matter in both sides of the brain ultimately increasing the IQ and knowledge of the host. When the chip was fused into Dragão's brain, it was constantly calculating at an alarming rate and started to increase the modification of his body almost destroying the internal body organs and replacing it with simple metals. Over time, trial and error was introduced with the AI and the host producing a hard slightly-bendable carbonic metal replacing his extremeties with it. A central fuel cell replaced the heart of Dragão giving his body the second brain needed to help the re-animation process and store his energy needed for his powers.

Chaos - Chaos is not in itself, a system or philosophy. It is rather an attitude that one applies to one's magic and philosophy. It is his basis for all magic, as it is the primal creative force of his powers. A Chaos Magician feeds off the chaos around him. The more chaos around him, the more charge his fuel cell gains. Dragão has to have this chaos around him to create the massive energies required to perform his ultimate attacks.

Regeneration - A chip was fused in the head of Dragão which gives his body the AI to regenerate itself. Once a limb is damaged, broken, or lost, the regeneration takes place which nanomachines have to travel from the central unit in the cyborg's body to the area of damage. A shorted or damaged limb would take approximately 2-5 minutes. A broken limb would take approx. 5-10 minutes, and a lost limb would take 15-30 minutes at his time of his life; of course depending on the piece lost. Everytime something is regenerated, the piece is made to be stronger withstanding more damage and more force to break. His AI chip will also learn from the malfunctions and flaws from the last attack.

Re-animated - Since Dragão is a cyborg, he does not need basic survival necessities such as food, water, and oxygen. He only keep a regenerative skin to keep himself human-like. His AI chip also gives its host unit ways of strengthening his pieces in his body which were lost, broken, or damaged.

Space - Ability to use the powers of the elements of space to include:

Knowledge: Dragão's knowledge of space in itself is one of his best powers. Knowing the coordinates of any celestial body, nebulas, stars, planets, current black holes, etc., the cyborg can use them to his advantage in space battle, traveling, etc.

Dark Flare - Discharging his chaos powers from his fuel cell to his extremeties, Dragão is able to throw an electrified, dark matter like ball in any direction. In the darkness, one might see the dark, purple lightning wrapping itself around the ball, but that is it. In the light, the ball would look like a dark comet. The size can range from a baseball to one as large as a small moon. The strength of the attack is dependent on the energy released from his fuel cell.

Solar Flare - Blinding Spell - Using a considerate amount of his energy, Dragão can expend a bright light as bright as the sun all around him temporarily blinding his victims for as short as ten seconds depending on the exposure. He uses this mostly for escape, but he has used this before to gain an upper hand against his opponents even for a few seconds.

Gravity - Dragão has the ability to control the positive and negative gravities around him. One way is to increase or decrease the gravity from the ground. Another way is to create it from his own body to draw object closer to him, or project objects away from him. (similar to telekenisis) One last way is to pinpoint a certain object and manipulate it at will.

Multi-Dark Flare - Ability to rapidly expend many dark flares toward a direction or curve them to a single target. This expends most of Dragão's fuel cell and is used as a last resort.

Big Bang - exactly what you are thinking...everything is frickin' gone. This is used to as a last resort when he is NOT going to win. This takes the longest time during Dragão's gnostic state to procure enough energy to perform this method. Once completed, even Dragão's body won't survive except for his AI chip in his head. It will take days to regenerate and remodel itself completely with a harder and more durable material. Dragão has yet to perform this technique, and he probably never will.

Weaknesses: NONE, haha, j/k, the only way to destroy Dragão completely is to destroy the regenerative AI chip in his head, but no one has yet to obtain the knowledge of his AI chip. Dragão's body is made up of hard materials, yet they are breakable with enough force or being hit with a harder material over periods of time. His enemies will have to continue the onslaught as Dragão will always regenerate over time, and his body will learn from its mistakes.


Description of Personality:

Respect - Dragão gives great respect to his followers as long as they obey his laws. He'll gladly support just causes that benefits his causes.

Power - The cyborg desires power and seeks it out. Dragão will also follow anyone who is more powerful than him. His chaos powers being stored in his fuel cell require him to stay around areas where chaos is at its highest. That is why he stays near his affiliate, Skrai.

Order - Order is needed in the universe. Dragão maintains order through fear and power, yet it isn't in a sense of a murderous chaotic state. His laws are made to create his order and his socialistic ways. That is why Chaos is required in his endeavors. He feels chaos is necessary to maintain this order.


Brief History:

Dragão was part of a military project to have an AI chip installed inside his head. Having an accident with the procedure, the chip was permanently fused inside his head. Everytime he was hurt, the chip would send the signals from his brain to the body to repair itself. Eventually, metallic parts were being added to the body. Over time, the metal parts took over the part of his body giving him the inhuman power of full metal. Not having any need of basic human needs, Dragão can now live forever as long as the chip is not removed. His brain is the only human part of him left. It gives him the ability to think logically and not systematically.

His chaos power came from one person, Draga, who had the same ability to absorb the chaos around him. Dragão then followed the man learning everything that he had to offer and teach. Eventually, the cyborb learned that his teaching were limited due to his age. Dragão then was forced to leave, but the Chaos Dragon, Draga, decided that Dragão was too powerful and a battle commenced. Dragão knew he was stronger than the old man, yet he put of a great defense against the cyborg, and he could not inflict anything else. Expending most of his energy, Dragão inflicted the final wound piercing the heart of Draga creating a void in space which sucked both the men in and exposed Dragão to the high energy Draga kept within him.

Being forced back out of the void, Dragão saw Draga get shot out to the distance. Dragão was in no shape to follow him. He passed out but woke up later in a spacecraft. This is how he ended up in the Dream. The spacecraft was a pirate ship which robbed and pillaged planets and home stations of their wares. Dragão took over the business and has been creating chaos throughout the universe. He has only met a few individuals capable of appeasing his interest who Dragão follows willingly...One is Skrai.

Zippo Lighter: Used to create a flame for any use, but it is mostly for to manipulate the fire.

Fangs: Yes, he does have fangs. They grow when he needs them, but it is only as to feed or a last resort on his life to kill by draining their blood completely.

Bloodlust: He's able to double his strength and speed by doubling his bloodflow throughout his body making him steam through his pores giving him a windy personality. The biggest detection of this ability is that his eyes turn completely red.

Aura Sensing: François senses people's personal auras which dictates their moods, wants, and desires by sensing their body's bloodstream.

Charisma: His French charm, accent, and good looks give him the advantage to sway most beings.

Speed: Light as a feather, François leaps and bounds with little effort. His dexterity is unmatched with his light cane sword.

Fire: François can't create fire, but he can manipulate it through the means of his lighter or anyway fire is produced. Once fire is created, he can steal the form and use it to his own means.

Highest Order of Gentleman: Being classy and a gentleman is his main means of knowing people. He'll always show properness to anyone rich or poor; social and anti-social.

Brief History:

Coming from a French family in the 1700s, he was the son of the richest man in town. Investing in gold and precious metals, the Sévère family grew to the millions overnight.

François was bitten by random vampires who went on a bloodlust against the region. Instead of killing him, François was spared because of his lineage. The vampire, Josef, took François in and made him his own.

François sought revenge against him for killing the rest of his family, but on the night of the revenge, Josef had him sent away to cool off. He couldn't kill him because the money he owned from his investments were too valuable.

François was locked up and chained. This didn't help his revenge; he decided to play it safe and escape. Revenge will come later when he's powerful enough.

Not completely turning into a vampire was a disadvantage and an advantage to himself. Having his body reject the venom of the vampire bite made him able to come out into the light, but François loved the night already. He tries not to expose himself as a daywalker until the time is right to strike.

Hearing of his escape, Josef decides to move his operation somewhere else in the Dream. This vampire didn't go on rampages and killings randomly too often because that exposed them if found out. They usually try to keep one, but François might have been the exception to the rule. Josef now realizes that he couldn't use him. He leaves to find other blood to help his organization.

François lives out of his mansion in the far corner of town. He is always trying to find information from anyone and other vampires on Josef's operation. François also owns his own rave club called, RAIN. It mists the place on most nights. He holds special parties for special guests when called upon. Mystery surrounds François' abilities and operation himself.

Staff: 4.5' staff with multiple deposits of fuel in its ends for flame tricks. It can come apart in two pieces for additional fire tricks. He mostly uses it for walking and leaning on. Anything to entertain.

Lute: Strapped to his backside is this enchanted musical instrument; used to enchant people or just to entertain folk. Only works on the weak minded.

Multi-colored Juggling Balls (30): Used mostly for entertainment or just to throw at people. Most are filled with different levels of fused explosives for pranks. Some are filled with rotting eggs, dirt, other things that would aggrivate his prank victim.

Rack of Knives: All around his belt are heavily-weighted, throwing knives. He uses them to slice objects he throws in the air or for other tricks. Some have a rubber blade for stabbing flukes on himself or others.

Jump Rope: Simple 8' jump rope which is thin enough to be used as a lasso or rope to get to higher places.

Balloons: Seemingly unlimited amount of balloons in his pouch to entertain and surprise.

Abilities/Skills & Power Level:

Contortionist: Being a contortionist, the jester is able to bend in almost every angle known. Unless fully shackled and tied up, he can escape most any means of capture. He can size himself down into a box almost like he was rubber.

Light-footed: Being considerably lighter than others makes his speed fast and agile. This helps in his performances among his audiences.

Marksman: Highly accurate in knife-throwing. Ever great distances up to 100 meters he can cut through an apple given the windage is light enough. He wouldn't try it at greater winds, unless it was deemed necessary.

Gymnist: Cartwheels, back-flips, forward-flips..even tripleback somersaults...too many to name. Because of his lightness, his agility plays a big part in his acrobatics.

Weaknesses:

Jester doesn't know when a joke or prank is too much. He also doesn't know the difference between soft and hard gestures. It often gets him into trouble. Since he is a regular being, he is suseptible to anything dangerous.

Description of Personality: Keeps a childlike image from his family's death. Loves to make a joke, sometimes goes too far with his jokes and people were hurt, sometimes killed. He explains most everything in riddles and questions, sometimes useless knowledge that doesn't make any sense or makes perfect sense. He stands, sits, and sleeps in the most awkward positions.

Brief History:Surviving from an explosion at his home when he was 10, Jester mourns his entire family death. His mind never lets go of that moment and remains a child. Trying to keep himself happy, he makes others happy, no matter what. Being a court jester, or fool, for King Skar of Gaian, he has earn a reputation for being the best fool of the land through his archaic or sadistic ways. He loses his position from a dangerous prank which almost burns the whole kingdom down. He was sentenced to death but escaped by one of his juggling bombs in his cell. He enters the Dream from that very explosion. He travels the land trying to pull his ultimate prank.

Special Effects (if any): Telekinetic and Telepathic abilities. The most practiced is flight and manipulating objects around him. These abilities seem to become stronger the more exited/emotional he gets. He has thrown a 10ton robot while angry. His true strength has yet to be measured. He has however practiced at fine tuning this ability and is quite good at using his TK to do many complicated and intricate things.

Telepath/ Empath: He can send messages telepathically and when he wants can often overhear unguarded surface thoughts as well as sense what other are feeling.

Awareness: Can sense the presence of others around him. The more he knows a person the farther away he can sense their presence. Common awareness stretches close to 50 yards all around him, farther if he knows the person.

Flight: Can reach rather high speeds, especially when using force field for protection from wind resistance.

Rapid healing: able to repair wounds, but can't do anything with infections. He can extend this ability to heal another.

Description of Personality: Often shy around strangers. He uses his mirrored sun-glasses to hide his robotic eye and to hide the fact that he might be looking in a different direction other than directly ahead. Around friends he is helpful, friendly, and somewhat screwy.

Brief History: From Earth. From Indiana to be more exact. An entire childhood of not being accepted, being bullied, and loneliness has caused a dark side to Demontec. Known for his long fuse, it takes quite a bit to make him snap. But if he does get pushed over the edge he seems almost a completely different person, full of hate and rage. (See what bottling up your anger can do.) Normally though, Demontec is just the quiet guy who likes to sit and observe things that go on around him. 4 years working at Pizza Hut has made his better half a bit screwy. The robotic eye comes from a bio-tech experiment that he volunteered for. They wanted to see if such implants could be useful for military purposes. The project ended up not being "cost effective." Demontec was one of only a bare few to volunteer.

NOTES!
The energy swords are much like that of the Star Wars light saber, in that it will cut through most normal materials that are not other wise protected from such weapons. The sword also has variable settings for energy output, blade width, and blade length. Dem usually has the blade set to 2½ft in length.

The bracer projects an energy shield (as a physical barrier).Wears it on his left arm. It extends from the wrist 3/4 the way to the elbow. It has 4 settings; Buckler (small round), Standard (medium, shaped like a triangle), Tower (large, shaped like a rectangle). The forth setting creates a force field completely around Dem. Bracer has a teleporter attached to it. Dem can often be seen typing location codes into it. He often uses his TK to control it as well.

Fire - Cho's fire power is used to light her candles and incense. She also uses it to melt the wax and form it with certain scents and coloring. She has to focus a lot of energy to bend the fire at will and control the wax to shape to its form needed.

Wind - Ability to create and bend the wind in the air. Cho uses wind to collect particles in the air such as powders and small, light items.

Aphrodisiac Scent - Cho has a natural smell which attracts more beings: men, women, ambiguous, etc...It isn't all intimate, yet people are just naturally drawn to her. Her appearance is tranquil anyhow.

Weaknesses: Cho is a frail cat. Since she is non-combative, she tends to break down in a fight. She hates to physically hurt people and will only fight back when it is life threatening. Her aphrodisiac scent appeals to most men, and women, but there are few that it will veer away from her. She has only met a few people who couldn't stand her smell.

Brown leather steel-toed boots are worn on his feet laced tightly around his feet and calves. Black-fitted leather gloves with the thumb and first finger cut off on the first knuckle were worn most of the time.

Body Armor – Concealable Body Armor IIA - Easily adjusted to form around the body with velcro. It provides protection for the front, sides, and back of the body. This armor easily fits inside Austin's jacket when worn.

Harold Osman - Another one of Austin's hired hands. Austin calls him Harry from his unit they were stationed most of their career. Harold was a vehicle maintenance specialist in the military. He also designs and build many mechanical parts for his and other's vehicles. Harold respects his old military buddy, and he would dive in front of a bullet it he needed to.

9mm Beretta - Standard military issue 9mm pistol. Present from his unit when he retired among many other items he received. Austin usually keeps the weapon strapped on his belt unless he is wearing his plaid jacket; he keeps on his drop holster inside the jacket.

Combat Knife - Another present from Harold when Austin retired. The sharpest of sharp knives made from a polular company in Anycity. It is a four inch spring-loaded switch blade attached to the opposite side of Austin's belt.

XM9 - Assault rifle, 5.56x45mm round, 3.5x red-dot scope. This light weight rifle is configured for automatic rifling. It has a 9-1 rifling which gives the rifle a longer accuracy. Its butt stock is collapsable which makes for it to be easily transportable and more stealthy. It can hold a standard magazine or a double drum magazine. This weapon is kept only for sentimental reason and is in the armory.


Business - Kane's Auto Repair - His shop consists of a two-door garage with both bays having lifts to raise most vehicles up to work under. Toolboxes surrounded the interior wall with the best tools available. Austin would work with anything, yet when he had the best, the best would be used. A small office was in a room which extended toward the front left of the garage doors. Inside was a oak desk surrounded by cabinets of manuals of each and every car available in the area. On the desk, two computer screens linked together was set around a wireless keyboard and a roller mouse.

Abilities/Skills & Power Level:

Combative Specialist – 25 years teaching combatives to his subordinates at his old unit, Austin uses a multitude of close combat skills which matching that of a ninja at best. Take-downs, disarming, grappling, knife fighting, are some of the skills he has learned and taught in his career. He trains at a resident combatives school in Anycity.

Weapons Expert - It hasn't been too long, but Austin has the ability to master and manipulate any sort of weaponry. Although his arsenal is small, his capacity can be endless if he finds a weapon.


Weaknesses: - Austin suffers from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) from the wars he has been in. It is an anxiety disorder that can occur after you have been through a traumatic event. A traumatic event is something horrible and scary that you see or that happens to you. During this type of event, one thinks that his/her life or others' lives are in danger. This disorder when it occurs in Austin will render him highly nervous and edgy. It would not be beneficial to freak him out and surprise him.

His other weakness is that he is a normal anthro-wolf and can bleed and die like any other normal wolf.

Description of Personality: - Austin is very respectful of others and demands the same when confronted. His pose and stiff and straight and will always make eye contact with another individual when conversing. He is always willing to help anothers in need. Accessories: Carries a magic staff of lightning. The staff is 5 feet long, dark brown, and polished to a slight shine. It never shows any signs of wear or deterioration.

While at Quicksilver Moon’s Sparkling Charms, Shaper received a pair of small magic charms from Quicksilver Moon. One of the charms has a picture of a caterpillar cocoon on it, the other has a picture of a caterpillar on one side, a butterfly on the other. These charms have the power to greatly enhance Shaper's transformation magic. He hasn't experimented much with them yet, so he is unsure of many things such as just how well they work or if their use is limited.
Pets: None.
Abilities/Skills and Power Level: Shaper has the magical power to change others, though it only works if he sincerely intends for the target to benefit from the change. His powers seem to be designed specifically for benefiting others. He has a vast amount of power within him, but has a lot of trouble using it.

His specialty is augmenting the abilities of others. He often uses this power to grant them increased strength, speed, agility, senses, ability to resist the effects of other powers, or even an increase to their power level. Unfortunately, the results are usually relatively unimpressive. For example: if he increases somebody's strength, it is likely that they will only be able to lift 20 to 50 pounds more than before. A speed increase usually only adds 5 to 10 MPH to their running speed. However, on rare occasions, he manages to grant somebody a more impressive increase, sometimes even a spectacular increase.

He can also do other minor changes. For example: he can alter somebody's eye color, fur/hair color, height (usually he can only make them up to 1 foot taller or shorter,) or features.

On very rare occasions, Shaper succeeds in changing somebody in a very significant and noticeable way, such as granting them wings and flight capability, or even changing their species. However, he very rarely succeeds in using his powers on this level.

Shaper hasn't discovered all of the ways he can change a person. He is sure to discover more as he adventurers.

The changes, whether small or large, usually last about an hour.

If he must fight, he will use his magic staff, which shoots fairly powerful lightning bolts. The bolts are enchanted so that they don't kill. A hit that would do enough to kill a person instead renders him/her unconscious.

As a kangaroo, Shaper also has the natural ability to jump very high and far; a potentially useful defense.
Weaknesses: Shaper's biggest weakness is his tendency to constantly get scared and nervous. It leads to no end of problems for him.

He must rely heavily on others since his powers only work if he is using them for the target's benefit and he can't use them on himself. If he has no allies nearby, he must rely on his staff of lightning. If he is without both allies and staff, he is powerless.

His powers often fail to work very well, which is another major weakness.
Special Effects: Shaper's staff is surrounded by crackling, blue and yellow magical electricity just before he uses it. This electricity is completely harmless (though the lightning bolt that the staff shoots certainly isn't!)

When Shaper uses his powers of change on another person, his right hand glows slightly with a thin aura of white magical light. The person who receives the change usually glows slightly with the same aura, and feels a strange yet pleasant feeling of magic running through them. On the rare occasions when Shaper's magic works very well, the aura is brighter and thicker on both his hand, and the person who is being changed.
Description of Personality: Shaper gets scared and nervous quite easily and quite frequently. He feels terrible about this, and longs to overcome it. He fights a constant battle with fear and nervousness. He also gets depressed frequently.

Despite his tendency toward cowardice, Shaper has a strong desire to help others. He does his best to do good deeds and protect good people from the forces of evil, but fear and nervousness often create problems for him.

Shaper values friendship highly, especially since his powers are useless without friends to benefit from them. When he is helping a friend in need, he is more likely to succeed in holding back his cowardice than any other time.

He can also be highly curious. His cowardice and curiosity come into conflict constantly.
Brief History: Somewhere in the multiverse is a beautiful, utopian world called Genesonia. This paradise of a world was created by the Genesons, a family of kangaroos with the power of creation. Every kangaroo born into the Geneson family is born with the power of creation, though their wondrous powers remain dormant until around the time they turn 12 years old.

For hundreds of years over many generations, the Genesons worked to create Genesonia. Now that the world is fully created, the currently living Genesons work to keep their world filled with beauty and peace.

One day, a kangaroo named Shaper was born into the Geneson family. For the first twelve years of his life, Shaper lived happily in Genesonia while enjoying the seemingly endless joys offered by his family's world. All the while, he waited for his creation powers to awaken so he could join his family in keeping Genesonia a wonderful world.

Finally, Shaper turned 12. To his astonishment and the astonishment of his family, Shaper turned out to have completely different powers than the rest of his family. Instead of being born with the power of creation, he was born with the power to temporarily change others in beneficial ways.

Eventually, the Genesons came to see Shaper's powers as an insult to their wondrous powers of creation. Shaper's own family decided to exile him from Genesonia. His own father created a portal leading away from Genesonia and angrily shoved Shaper through it while the rest of the family watched in approval. The only one who was against exiling him was his younger sister, Weaver. She still loved her big brother and didn't see him as a disgrace at all.

As the poor young 'roo tumbled through the magical passage to another world, he cried profusely. His family hated him, and he would no longer live in the wondrous paradise of Genesonia.

The portal lead to the dream. Not long after arriving, Shaper happened to find a magical staff of lightning lying on the ground. It was an immensely important stroke of luck, because the staff has saved his life many times since then and he wouldn't be able to survive without it.

During the events in Undersea Quest, Shaper learned that his magic is actually a living being who is very unhappy about his constant fear and nervousness. If Shaper doesn't seriously work on becoming braver, the magic might leave him permanently.
Ambition: To understand his powers and why he has the powers that he does, somehow bring out the potential of his powers, overcome his cowardice, and become a great force of good.

Physical appearance: 5'6", lean and fit. Altsoba's appearence looks to be a union of Man and Crow. Having the head, chest and arms morphic to the breed whilst still retaining the shape and diemntions of common man with a light coat of feathers which extends the rest of the way down. Following behind him is a short avian tail which extends no lower than that of a skirt (Above the knee).

Mental Characteristics: With his previous horrible experiment gone wrong and his reincarnation begun he notices something is strange about himself. Like something vibrating inside of him but not in any physical sense. He realized he could manipulate certain technology with a mere touch and a thought.

General Physical Look: A tall creature usually clad in a white lab coat, white button shirt and black slacks. Often working on big projects he tends to get a little dirty. Although Avedonians have wings flight over long distances had become useless at this point.

Personality: Occasional outbursts of incohearant babble may ensue his capacity to function within normal reality. Other than that Altsoba can get along in small groups with minor aggravation.

Cash on hand: In Avedonia with credits in value and a government ran institute backing you every step, Altsoba masses a small fortune in which he ran his experiments.

Items/Weapons:Goggles, Eye Glasses, Thick worn gloves, Toolbelts, Molecular grounding boots, PDA, Patch of wires, Misc. electrical tools, a Blaster Pistol and some home made grenades.

Weaknesses: Technology is his main weakness. When "Pairing" with new and wonderous technology Altsoba can sometimes lose himself in the code. Machines such as internal combustion engines or things that don't contain circuits or memory to run cannot be operated remotely.

Special Effects: When merging or "Pairing" with technology, low pulsing light extends from the tips of his feathers down the edges to the technological contact points.

Bio: Altsoba's race belongs to a distant tropical planet named Avedonia. While most of the planets native creatures slowed in progression of their natural evolution an area inhabited by winged biped's grew smarter. Started useing tools and passing over expeirences from generation to generation. Soon after thousands of years have passed and the Avedonia became filled with life and technology. Soon cloning became popular in genetically reconstructing some of the greatest minds their world had ever known in pursuit of higher technology and bigger credit accounts. Altsoba had perished in an unfortunate lab experiment in which he volenteered himself as the test subject. After his death his body was quickly exumed and recreated though he never seemed to be himself again. Hiding away inside his lab once again he began performing bizzare experiments thatwould leave the facility in smoke. In fear he may do himself in once again and take the rest of the building with him Altsoba loses his job, moves his equipment back to his small 1 bedroom apartment and begins again what he did not finish.

Abilities/Skills & Power Level: Vanilla is an ermine of many talents, but her specialty is making magical perfumes, colognes, scented candles, and incenses. She has learned the art of enchanting fragrances with magical properties. She frequently experiments to discover new magical fragrances.

The magical effects of the scented items Vanilla makes usually last for about 20 minutes or until the person can no longer smell the item, whichever comes first.

An important note-The power of every one of Vanilla's magical fragrances is related to scent in some way, even if a person has to wear the perfume or cologne to get the effect. A creature without a sense of smell cannot be affected by any of her magical fragrant items.

She also makes many different perfumes, colognes, scented candles, and incenses which don't produce any magical effects, but she often incorporates magic into the production to make the fragrance truly unique and awe-inspiring. She has come up with items that smell like everything from ordinary things like baking bread, to truly exotic scents such as various types of dreams.

Not all of her interests lie in the field of fragrances. She also spends some time painting, playing the flute, giving massages, and cooking. She is fairly skillful in each of these fields.

She also spends time exercising and practicing martial arts.

Vanilla is strong enough to fully lift 260 pounds. She has a top running speed of 25 MPH. She is very agile, but not quite agile enough to be an Olympic gymnast.

Vanilla's preferred martial arts style is one that focuses on punches and jumps. She is just barely skillful enough to have a black belt.

The magical fragrances Vanilla has discovered thus far are listed below. She is sure to discover many more.

Except when otherwise noted, her enchanted perfumes and colognes only affect somebody wearing them, but enchanted incenses and scented candles affect everybody who smells them clearly.

Strength(perfume/cologne)-Anybody who wears at least an ounce of this magical perfume/cologne will magically become physically stronger. Depending on how strong the dose is, lifting capacity might increase from anywhere from 20 extra pounds to 100 extra pounds. Vanilla has even managed to make an extra pure batch that doubles a person's strength (to a maximum of 500 extra pounds of lifting capacity,) but that concentration is so difficult to make that it must be saved for emergencies.

Silence(incense/scented candle)-Dims all sound in the area. Good for quiet meditation.

Clarity(incense/scented candle)-This particular magical fragrance comes in five varieties. Each one will conjure memories of something beautiful associated with one of the five senses (of course, they're all pleasing to the sense of smell.) Each one will also heighten one of the five senses for everybody within scent range.

Heroism(perfume/cologne)-Instilled with a small amount of liquid goodness, this fragrance is extremely pleasant to good people, and wretchedly foul to evil people. Unlike other perfumes/colognes, this one affects everybody in scent range.

Friendship(incense/scented candle)-The scent of friendship itself, it empowers those who smell it to feel friendship with others in a whole new way as long as they remain in scent range.

Soaring(perfume/cologne)-Empowers the wearer to jump three times as high and far.

Swiftness(perfume/cologne)-Grants the wearer fleetness of foot so they may run as swiftly as the wind.
Concentration(incense)-A very undistracting fragrance that also lets those in scent range concentrate extra well on something.

Pink(incense/scented candle)-Turns people's noses pink. Useful for a bit of mischievous fun.

Growth (perfume/cologne) - Vanilla has recently managed to make her most powerful magical perfume/cologne ever. The fragrance is called Growth. It causes the wearer to grow to the size of a giant (usually a little over 40 feet tall, and with tremendous physical strength.)

Growing Skies (perfume/cologne) - This fragrance is made by mixing Growth and Soaring, along with a special catalyst. The scent calls to mind growing skies and expanding possibilities. The wearer grows wings, and gains the ability to fly.

Taur Form (perfume/cologne) - This fragrance is made by mixing Growth, Strength, and Swiftness, along with a special magical catalyst. It transforms the wearer into a four-legged 'taur version of himself or herself. The 'taur form has great strength and speed, along with many other benefits that come with having four legs in addition to two arms.

Note - Vanilla thinks that there might be many ways to mix Growth with other magical fragrances in order to create new effects. It's an exciting discovery indeed!

Weaknesses: Gullibility-It is fairly easy to fool Vanilla into believing that a lie is true.

Inadequate caution-Vanilla loves new experiences so much that she frequently rushes to them without considering the consequences. She often doesn't listen to her fear when she should.

Reliance on items-Vanilla doesn't have any special powers when she is without her magical fragrances. Often, somebody can nullify the effect of one of her perfumes by drenching her with water to wash it off, or end the effect of an incense by extinguishing the flame that is burning the incense.

Guilt-Vanilla feels horribly guilty whenever she does anything to hurt a good person or lets somebody down. Sometimes she is so overwhelmed with guilt that her personality undergoes a major reversal for a time. She goes from being cheerful and energetic to being horribly sad and depressed.

Fear of failing others-Vanilla hates to let others down. Sometimes, she becomes so focused on her own determination to help that she can't make good decisions.
Special Effects (if any): Each of her magical perfumes/colognes/incenses has a fragrance that will remind those who smell it of something directly related to the item's power.
Description of Personality: Kind-hearted, friendly, energetic, curious, and loving life. Vanilla tries very hard to make others happy, be friendly, and enjoy life.

She loves hearing about other people. Their hobbies, occupations, and lives are all of great interest to Vanilla.

She believes that life should be experienced with all of the senses. She also seeks to show others the beauty of life. Quite often, she'll use one of her five varieties of Clarity incenses to let somebody see/hear/smell/feel/taste something in a whole new way.

Vanilla is truly a philosopher of the senses. She often rambles on and on about philosophy related to one of the five senses.

She is very difficult to truly anger, but there are some things that make her mad. In particular, she tends to get quite angry if anybody insults her work.

Brief History: Vanilla was born in a largely modern world, though the world has some magic, some evil monsters, and far more untamed wilderness than Earth.

At a young age, Vanilla began to really like her mother's vanilla-scented perfume. She also learned that her mother named her after her favorite scent. The young ermine child quickly developed a love of beautiful fragrances.

Vanilla also began practicing martial arts at a young age since monsters were known to occasionally show up in the area where she lived.

When she was 15, she met her best friend, Jessica Deerheart. Jessica showed Vanilla the joys of working out, and being strong and fit.

Around this time, she also began to take an interest in magic and enrolled at a mage's academy that was within driving distance of where she lived.

When Vanilla was 16, she discovered a way to make magical perfumes. Somehow, this form of magic came to her naturally, and she quickly began to experiment with it. Before long, she was also making magical colognes and incenses.

Excited by the discovery of a new form of magic, many other mages began to experiment with Fragrance Magic.

One day, one of her experimental perfumes was somehow spiked with space distortion potion. When Vanilla tried to work with the spiked formula, she was inadvertently transported to the dream.

Slink

Age: 12 (looks around 156 in dragon years. Which is the equivilant of, oh, 13 in human years if you wanna get picky about it. Which means he looks matured.)

Gender: Considerably male.

Species/Race: Anthro Dragon... With stuff to hide.

Weight: Unexpectedly heavy, though he's never taken his time to weigh himself and get a correct number.

Height: 5'9. 8'2 if the wings are fully extended.

Build: Dragonish build. The muscle is mostly in his arms, upper torso, legs, and tail. Sleak and tough in the neck, midsection, and snout. He's got a slighly enlongated spine for an anthro and while he stands upright, he makes a very slight S shape.

The only real bones protruding from his body are his horns that curve at a downward angle. His chin spikes, fancy spine pattern, and natural tail weapon have been removed. Why is beyond him.

His face is snouted and long. His tail, having the spikes removed, ends like any normal tail. So don't go adding any spades or fancy bits. Three fingers and a thumb per hand. He has ear flaps with membrain.

Coloration: A black and red coloration. His scales are dark red with a black tinge at the end of each, claws and teeth are black, membrain is a soupy mixture of black and red (black is most prominant).

Eyes are cold blue.

Clothing / Armor: None. That's right... He's nude. Oh, come off it. He's a dragon. A lizard. A reptile. Nothing is really going to show anyway.</TD></TR>

Occupation / Class: He... Doesn't know. Slink has a deep knowledge that he is supposed to work for something, somewhere. But for now he can't quite place what it is or what his purpose in life is supposed to be.

Affiliations: Same general answer as the occupation. He has this deep gut feeling that he's supposed to know some people, somewhere. Can't place who, though. Or why. Due to this, there's going to be some deep yearning to find out.
Accessories: Nothing that he's really aware of.

Abilities/Skills & Power Level: He's strong. Above average strong. A strong that would make someone say, "Wow, that guy can pull a train behind him. Now that's pretty damn strong." The odd thing about it is that he doesn't look that strong. So it just doesn't add up. Same with general abilities like speed and jumping. He isn't really 'SuperDragon', just above average without explination. And he's yet to really test these skills to their full ability. But don't worry, Slink isn't going to pull god anytime soon.

Weaknesses: Even if he is above average in the abilities section, he can get his scaley ass kicked. Due to being a reptile, he's cold blooded. Therefore ice and other cold things can severely damage him and his general metabolism. His hearing is sensitive, so loud noises and electronic signals (ya know, that high pitched frequency sound) can really irritate him.

He has a mental disorder of going psychotic on and off. His memory also blips out occasionally. He's trying to find medication to stop the psycho problem and wants to find what's causing the memory issues... More or less what goes on that he doesn't remember.

Special Effects: If he's angry, his scales flare red. If he's afraid or in a warring mode (ie, not angry but ready to attack. Or sneaking around on a mission), his scales will go nearly black. His scales will also darken if he's cold and brighten slightly if he's very warm. Eyes will flare a shiny blue if he's seeing in the dark or going to attack.

Description of Personality: Confused. There are so many things he wants to know, and so many things he thinks he should know but is just out of grasp of.

Has this struggling and otherwise conflicting problem. That is, he desires teamwork. Almost craves it. But at the same time he goes into psychotic fits without reason at times. And urge to kill, destroy, all that good stuff. So ontop of people perceiving him as confused, they should also see him as unpredictable

Brief History: This'll be a hard one to explain out. Bare with me here.

He's lived a very decent childhood in TheComa. Knew friends, worked with very important peers. Had been taught many things. Was happy. The only problem with this story is that it's all in bits and pieces. He doesn't remember any sad parts to his life, any parts that he'd hold a grudge against. He can't give any names of those he remembers or even remember what their faces looked like. Nor can he name any places he's been to or specific things that he's been taught with the exception of the very basic (speaking, writing, reading, etc).

Would this make a very short bio? Perhaps more will be added.

The real snag in this story is that Slink feels he lost these fragmented memories just now, in his very first thread. That there is something blocking them. Why? Noone told him of his past. There should be no reason that he doesn't simply accept that he has a bad memory forever... Well, that can be explained away with the above average abilities. None of his happy childhood memories had such powers or skills. And the fact that he has them now without any logical reason or anatomy to explain it is a little too fishy to shrug off. So something must've happened to block something in the past from his brain. Something important. Something Slink needs to find out.

However first he has more immediate matters of concern, which is also a surprise that isn't brought up in his childhood: His sudden psychotic impulses. So before any questions are answered, that needs to be dealt with first.

Outwardly, Chain resembles nothing less than an old-west bandit. A white cloth covers her face below the eyes at all times (except when doing necessary things like drinking or eating), a white, broad-brimmed hat obscures her visible features, and a pale blue-grey embroidered poncho conceals her figure.

Underneath the poncho, she is dressed in black, form-fitting assault wear. Wrapped diagonally across her torso are four “bandoliers”, or ammo belts, which apart from basic function bear little resemblance to the classic, low-tech connotations of the word. Her guns and other supporting mechanisms could in some ways be considered clothing (as they are for all intents and purposes physically attached to her), but for clarity they will be described below.

Occupation / Class: Mercenary

Accessories (weapons, jewelry, tools, magic items, vehicles, etc.):

The Guns

Attached to Chain’s hands are a pair of caseless .41 caliber handguns.

By ‘attached’ we mean there are wires and braces embedded in her flesh that bind her hands permanently in firing position, leaving them only able to aim, or pull the trigger. In addition to these surgically-embedded restraints, she wears gloves with special braces that hook into the guns, which serve to channel some of the gun’s recoil down the forearm instead of the wrist, allowing for greater accuracy in firing.

Instead of using a conventional magazine, the guns are designed to reload by hooking into fixtures as the bottom of Chain’s bandoliers. Reloading in this manner can take as little as half a second.

The guns are also designed to use variable propellant loads. Loads range from standard (somewhere between 9mm and .45 in stopping power), to silenced (subsonic, only good at close range), to magnum (about 44 magnum in power).


The Chains

Extending down the sleeves of the poncho are not Chain’s real arms… Rather, they are metal constructs, similar to a doll’s arms, attached to chains that run through large reels mounted on her shoulders. Through use of limited telekinesis, she can manipulate the doll-like hands almost as finely as she could with her real hands. The strength she can exert with the arms, however, is only about half what she could with her real hands. She could, for example, use them to support her weight (with some difficulty), but would be unable to pull herself up with them. (It should be noted that at arm’s length, the chains are not fully extended. If she wished, she could reel out another 10 feet of length on each arm. However, as her telekinetic arm strength decreases linearly as a function of distance, she does not extend them often.)

The hands are normally covered with long gloves, and on casual inspection are not readily identifiable as fakes. She uses this to her advantage, concealing her real arms, with guns, under her poncho.

The ”Chaos Device”

Implanted in the space that was once occupied by Chain’s larynx is a small, innocuous-looking metal device. When she “hums” with the muscles remaining in her throat, however, it will begin to send out “chaff” signals to every sense used by humans, making it appear that Chain is moving in many directions at once. Visually, you will see multiple erroneous images of what she is doing along. Aurally, you will hear footsteps and gunshots in places they never happened. Psychically, you will not be able to pinpoint her.

This system has limits, however. The device seems to tap into Chain’s nervous system directly, and its use drains her very quickly. After a few minutes, she must stop or risk losing consciousness. Also, the sensory distortions happen in a fixed radius around her position; if you fire an automatic weapon in that direction for long enough, chances are you will hit her eventually. Additionally, not all senses are covered by this device. It does not mask scent, for one, nor senses of a more “magical” nature.

Portable Nano-Fabrication Device

Normally belted around Chain’s waist, this device can be programmed to fabricate a variety of objects. Its most oft-used setting is “bullets”, and as long as Chain provides the basic elements found in bullets (Slug metal, and then something which the organic components necessary for gun propellant can be extracted from. Common foods work decently.) In this setting, the device can churn out about one bullet every ten minutes.

However, with a bit of tweaking, it can be used to generate other small, common devices. (Though “common” by the standards of the society Chain hails from is more advanced than the technology of this day and age).

Miscellaneous things that may or may not be in her possession…

Each bandolier has a carrying capacity of 100 bullets: so, she can carry up to 420 bullets at one time (counting up to ten each already loaded in her guns). Usually, two of the bandoliers will contain hollow-point-type rounds (for maximum tissue damage), and two will contain full-metal-jacket-type rounds (for piercing armor). If nothing is specified when she enters the scene, assume she is fully-loaded, with the above ammo distribution.

She occasionally carries other weapons in addition to these (which can be used with her prosthetics), which will be specified when entering any rp setting.

Abilities/Skills & Power Level:

Weak Telekinesis

Chain possesses a weak form of telekinesis that is, overall, rather limited in use… Though she can manipulate her arms with relative ease, she has great difficulty manipulating objects that aren’t composed of the unusual alloy her arms and guns are constructed from. In general, she won’t bother trying to use her telekinesis with anything else unless forced to (and even then, don’t expect her to be able to move anything greater than a few pounds).

Weak Telepathy

Chain cannot speak. She has no larynx. She can, however, communicate telepathically over short distances. Even at close range, however, her “voice” will seem rather faint, barely more than a whisper.

Weak Body-Sense

While not psychic to the point of detecting a mind’s exact location in space, she nonetheless seems to have a certain heightened “intuition” about the locations of people in semi-close proximity to her. This “sense” is limited to about a thirty-foot radius, however.

Combat Skills

Despite the fact that she shoots one-handed, she is a crack shot with her primary guns, taking full advantage of how they were integrated with her body to increase stability and accuracy. Additionally, she displays a frightening amount of success in hitting targets while on the move, often while not even looking at them directly (this is where the body-sense comes in handy now and again).

Without ammo, however, she is limited to improvised street-brawling. A dangerous proposition considering how weak her telekinetic prosthetics are… Watch out, though, she has a mean pistol whip!

Engineering

The PNFD is no layman's tool, and substantial knowledge of electric/mechanical engineering is required to utilize its functionality. Chain apparently has this knowledge and experience, despite her current career choice... However, she rarely seems to use it, except in cases where pieces of her equipment have broken down, or she desperately needs a piece of equipment that isn't readily available at her current locale.

Weaknesses:

Mute

This may not seem like a huge drawback given her telepathy, but considering how weak her telepathy is, this can be damned annoying if she needs to talk with someone more than ten feet away.

No Hands

If her prosthetics are removed or her telekinesis is blocked somehow, she is pretty much incapable of anything that requires manual dexterity.

Though her own psychic abilities are quite weak, Chain displays a strange ability for slipping under the radar of others’ psychic senses… Her position can still be found, generally, though her “signal” would be about 1/5th the strength of a regular human’s. Attempting to read her mind or sense her emotions will result in almost a complete blank to a low-to-mid-range psychic, and a mess of jumbled thoughts to even the most powerful of psychics. Part of this seems to be the work of her own, albeit weak psionic ability, though it is uncertain if it is a conscious enough process for her to deactivate if she wanted to let another psychic access her mind.

Description of Personality:

Cold, silent, and reclusive, Chain makes little attempt to forge friendships with the rest of the world. Always on the move, those who pay her close scrutiny can only surmise that she seems to be looking for something or someone, though she never reveals what...

For the most part, she takes jobs sparingly, only as they are needed to support her spartan existance. When work or bad fortune brings her into a conflict, she reacts with cool calculation, bringing the conflict to an end as quickly, and with as less mess as possible (Though being someone who has only her guns to back her up, the minimum mess may still be a considerable amount.).

Despite her cold demeanor, rumors persist of times where she has reacted strongly to situations that offended her personal code of justice. Though some doubt the veracity of these rumors, all who know anything about her agree that crossing her in such a manner would probably not be conducive to one's long-term health.

Brief History:

Little is known about Chain, and her history is no exception. The only official records to her existence are a few scattered case files, none dating back more than a few years. The most common speculation is that she, like many current residents of the Dream, simply *poofed* in from another plane.

Of her reticence to discuss her past, gossips have only to look at her physical deformities to speculate... What sort of person would mutilate themselves so? Or what kind of monster would do such a thing to them? They are the kind of questions that if mulled over long enough, inevitably make the questioner ask themselves if they really want to know the answer.

Description of Personality: Kind-hearted. Tries to help others. Seeks to learn. Hates himself for wasting his life.
Brief History: At a young age, it was discovered that Franklin possessed a genius-level I.Q. He was told by many that he could be the world’s foremost expert in any scientific area he chose. However, he instead chose to spend his life being lazy and having fun. Now, in his old age, he terribly regrets having wasted his life and his potential.
Ambition: To do at least one highly worthwhile thing during the time he has left.
