Theme Month

Change is good, right. So I am suggesting each month we pick a them and base our avatar and sig on that them. Like for example we say this month is Marvel Comic month. Each member should them choose an avatar of what Marvel Comic Character suit them best. First come first serve so no copycats.

Make it a bit more refined though, like just X-Men, or Bleach. Something from a specific title or show or whatever, that way we can do several anime themes in a year instead of anime once a year. Its just theres so much to choose from.

This idea is to help attract new member. But it mainly for the member who are here.

Also to make it intersting for one selfs. If all new ideas needed new member to make work. What worth are we putting on current members?

When will this start?

As soon as I get some more ppl with suggestions. (D is the only one who's given any at this point.)

I'll probably give a week's notice or so before the end of each month so we all have time to prepare. OR.... I may just post a schedule 3 months at a time... or both.

October is a good time to start, and as soon as I have a few more ppl submit their suggestions, I'll begin picking the monthly themes completely at random. As soon as I get more suggestions, I'll announce what October's theme is.

I see from your answer that you don't fully understand what is proposed for "Theme Month" it not just about anime. It gives member a chance to help mold the board appearance at least one monthat a time.

I suggest you re-read each reply in this thread again and see what going on before you reply again. But if your still against it and don't wanna change your sig or avatar fine. We not gonna force you to participate. I sure one month may be wrestling. Then you'll fit in...LOL

I can see how this might effect those that do not make their own sigs a bit nagatively. They have a hard enought time trying to have people make them for them once a year.....

But, we also have a lot of people that do make their own sigs and they might like the challenge to come up with new items to fit the theme.

I just hope the themes will have a braod enough appeal that people will not be stumped by what to do.

This could work as long as people do have time to work on them before the set theme comes up, and this looks like exactly what is being done.

I will try to think of a couple themes to add to the list.

I like the idea as well.

I see this as being a way to jumble the constant flow.
